The most important two tools in revealing the cars current condition and previous history is a mechanic and a Vehicle History Report. Your mechanic will tell you the current condition of the vehicle, however the Vehicle History Report will reveal certain problems that would have otherwise been overlooked and undetected. The Vehicle History Report will include information like when the car was manufactured, the original date of sale and title, where it was originally purchased, how many sates the car has been registered in, and how many owners the vehicle has had. More importantly the Vehicle History Report will reveal any major problems with the vehicle and any issues that would indicate odometer fraud. You’ll also see some cool stuff like if the airbags have been deployed, which would indicate some sort of accident in the vehicles history.
