Necessary Vehicle History Information
So, what all information do you need to get a Vehicle History Report? Good thing getting a report is pretty easy and doesn’t require too much information. When you find the car that you want to run the report on, look for the Vehicle Identification Number(VIN). The VIN number is a series of numbers and letters assigned by the manufacture, and no two VINS are the same. The easiest place to fine the VIN number is on the driver’s side door, but if you don’t have access to that you can see the VIN number through the windshield on the driver’s side dashboard on the bottom corner. Make sure you double check the VIN number that you wrote down, as it’s pretty easy to make an error while copying down seventeen digits. So, to sum this all up, all you need to request a Vehicle History Report on the vehicle you’re interested in is the VIN number!
